spaetzle mit pils

Last night’s vegetarian dinner:  onion roll (split with the wife), spaetzle w/mushrooms (kit from Aldi), 

and a halfhearted salad (iceberg + unlovely Romas) with quasi-balsamic dressing.

The spaetzle was ok, not great.  That stuff (done well) is heaven.  If I knew I was having a Last Meal it would include spaetzle.  I make it from scratch about 1x/month;  it’s the reason I bought a potato ricer.  I’ll take pics next time.
